I have a 25 yr relationship with Edgerton. They installed and maintained heating and a/c in a 10,000 sq ft house that we built. The builder introduced us to them. Later in a 5,000 sq foot remodel they installed and maintained the heating and a/c. New owners in both still use Edgerton. Now I am in a 2,100 sq foot condo and they installed and maintain the heating and a/c. Obviously, I have been very pleased and highly recommend Edgerton. My favorite technicians come and go but they have highly skilled techs to replace them.

Edgerton installed a mini-split system in Nov 2015, every year (except one) it lost refrigerant and stopped working. We had them out many times, and they kept refilling it. It finally quit for good Dec 2022, the tech came and said the main compressor had completely failed due to no refrigerant which also lubricates the system. In sort, we were left with no heat and payments on a system that was totally dead. I know they tried, but apparently they do not know how to install this system without costly leaks. They may do better with central air system, but not recommended for heat pump mini-splits.

Honest, skilled, experienced, customer centric and solved our problem. The annual furnace repair is always done in a highly professional and complete manner! But what was GREAT this year is we needed someone to look at our Gas Fireplace Insert as it hasn't been working properly and finding someone has been difficult. I discovered Edgerton could do this service and to our delight in walked Joel L. Joel was amazing and very focused on leaving us in great shape which he did in spades! His skills, experience, thoroughness, knowledge, willingness to educate and a genuine focus on customer satisfaction was just what we needed. The lower burner wasn't working, we had no glowing embers and had stopped using the unit because another company that told us the unit was not safe and needed to be completely replaced (10+K). Well, that was not the case at all and Joel's efforts, as the Edgerton Technician, brought us back to a safe and working condition. Can't say enough about the effort taken and the fantastic result. Look at the picture, Joel had the whole thing apart and fixed the issues and performed the necessary maintenance. We are 200% satisfied and can't say enough about this company and the people working for them. Also, my appointment was set up via TEXT and a great interaction about specifics of the service with Crystal F via email. Bravo Edgerton, job well done!

Very responsive and coordinated. Available 24/7 and very helpful with troubleshooting. Super high quality and professional service techs who know what they’re doing. Job cost came in below estimate….how often does that happen?!

Impressed with Edgerton. They were responsive, polite, timely and appreciative of the business. My central air conditioning unit was installed without a mess or power disruption and the install team was so professional and helpful. I feel great about my decision to go with Edgerton.

We have been happy with Edgerton in past and wanted to consider them for new central AC install. The woman who came to measure and explain process seemed great, but now we can get no response. Have tried calling, emailing, and texting. Didn’t think we would be ghosted when thinking about spending $20k with a company. Highly disappointed.

The staff both at the office and the technician I dealt with were all professional and helpful that is the only reason for 3 stars. The service deserves 1 star. I contracted for a preventative maintenance on my Mr. Slim Heat Pump System. The main reason for me contracting the service was to clean the heads in the house. I do not consider cleaning the filters and spraying a cleaner on the cooling fins a complete cleaning. There is visible dirt/buildup on the inside of the heat pump head and that is not covered in this service. The technician while being very professional and even taking the time to call the office to explain what needed to be cleaned came back and told me that is a different service. So in 2.75 hours 7 heads were “cleaned” and two outside compressors. For what this service cost I can not recommend.

Edgerton came out to service two air conditioning units at our house. Very helpful. Addressed outstanding issues quickly, explained issues clearly, and got our system operating to a much higher degree of efficiency. Highly recommend.

My experience with Edgerton was positive. The tech named Joel, was beyond knowledgeable, professional and considerate. He didn't mind that I asked questions while he worked.Joel was very thorough with his service work today. If I have an issue in the near future, I will request Joel.

Edgerton replaced my Heat pump and Water heater over the last 4 months. "Outstanding" service right from the sales rep, service, scheduling, billing etc. The financing they offer makes a financially stressful time a bit easier to swallow!!!!! Thank you again.....also, the cookies!!! Nice touch......

Very responsive and helpful. Have used them for heating and air conditioning construction work and service for many years, putting in two boilers, and four a/c compressors and air handlers as well as a large generator. Happy with all work and service.

My service person was fine but when he told me I needed Freon and there would be a charge. I didn’t think much of it but then I realized my 6 year old HVAC system shouldn’t need Freon and the cost was $300. I paid the bill but now I’m quite concerned. I was told I have to wait until my next service which makes sense but…..I know it’s not their fault but I had no idea the charge would be $300 and Imay have a problem.

Whenever I call, the people are always so helpful and nice. If there are any problems (which are rare) they are usually efficient with helping and resolving them. I always appreciate the maintenance people taking the time to explain and talk to me when I have questions or concerns. I've had my AC unit for almost 19 years, and it is still working efficiently thanks to the hard work of Edgerton. Usually by this time others would be telling me to replace it, but thanks to the hard work of the maintenance people, it's still working efficiently and they've told it still has plenty of life left in it. Don't need to change what's not broken.

Technician seemed to know what he was doing and did not try to up sell me on anything. He was very knowledgeable and did a good job explaining what the problem was. Although it may be maintained in their system he did not note the date, nor the service performed on the tracking sheet attached to the furnace. This tracking sheet is a good reference to let me know when and what work was performed.

I've used Edgerton for about 11 years for all my HVAC issues, including annual mtce., new furnace and a/c unit, new hot water heater, as well as the most recent job replacing all my attic and crawl space ductwork. They were very responsive, competitively priced and did an excellent job completing it on time.

Edgerton replaced my steam boiler six years ago. During this year's service on the boiler they noticed that the pressure gage was not working. They replaced the gage and checked the entire system. The crew that came out were on top of every aspect of the job that needed to be completed. Knowing the ins and outs of steam heat is an art form. Edgerton is very knowledgable on the workings and maintaining of steam heat.

I have used Edgerton for many years for both equipment replacement and annual PM work and they always do a great job. Their field technicians are all both very competent and experienced and also very professional and courteous. Bill was our service tech this time and we could have not had a better experience. Very thorough, very courteous and pleasant and we are very happy with the work.Highly recommend Edgerton, their office staff is very responsive and their field work is always excellent!
